Greetings Indigo-ers!
I am greeting you today from my home office (which is soon to be the nursery...not sure where we'll squeeze the home office next =). While things are progressing beautifully with the baby (I'm 4 1/2 months pregnant), I am experiencing some minor complications which have led the Dr.'s to order me to rest. So, since last Friday I haven't been allowed much physical activity - this is quite an adjustment for a girl who is used to doing massages 6 days a week, teaching 4 yoga classes & 5 private lessons a week (not to mention chasing after an active 3 year old boy!).
But, yoga has taught me to accept where I am in this moment...to slow down & let go of my attatchments to what I think I should be able to do. I can still practice a lot of breath work as well as Mula Bandha (which is similar to a Kegal exercise)...I can still practice concentration & meditation. I can set my intentions for a positive outcome and practice feeling gratitude and contentment for the many blessings I have in this moment. I can practice loving and accepting myself while embracing and examining my limitations. I can practice finding ways of transforming my limitations into doorways to undiscovered opportunities & possibilites.
This is taking patience, I won't lie...but I've been practicing that as well & I am finding it easier the more persistant I am. So, I am at home for the moment...remembering how to "just be." We'll see what tomorrow holds!
Namaste - Abby
