I am officially still buzzing from my recent & wonderful Amma experience.  Last Thursday, July 3rd, a small group of us traveled to just outside of Iowa City to have our first Amma experience.  While I have been to spiritual gatherings & experiences of many kinds this particular event was unique, rare and so special. 



Amma is known as the 'hugging saint,' and is a living self-realized spiritual master.  She is a humanitarian and her charitable work reaches to the farthest corners of the earth.  To learn more about this amazing woman and her work visit Amma's Website.

This visit to Iowa City was part of Amma's North American Tour, which she does annually.  People from all walks of life come to hear her message, and to receive darshan (her loving embrace...a Hug!!).  Additionally Amma will give you a Mantra if you should ask...I was blessed to receive both Darshan and Mantra from Ammachi!



I plan to write more on this soon...I wanted to update the blog as it has been too long since my last entry.  At the moment, my attention is needed by my sweet baby girl ~ but more on Amma later!
