Men of Yoga 2009 Calendar Update (Entry for September 13, 2008)
Well, the photos have been taken, the images have been edited, and as of yesterday the final cut was made to determine which pictures would represent each of the 12 months (plus a cover) for the year to come. This was a fun project, but one of the real perks of this idea is that we're donating a portion of proceeds from the sale of each calendar to Living Lands and Waters (http://www.livinglandsandwaters.org/)! We are proud and so pleased to announce that we will soon unveil the product of a fun and exciting project. We've co-produced our very own "Men of Yoga 2009" Calendar. We have partnered with Shuva Rahim (Owner & Photographer of Accent Photographics) to produce a high-quality, professionally photographed calendar featuring many of our very own Indigo Yogis (and some of our instructors). There are a growing number of men practicing Yoga on a daily basis, and we wanted to show the world (or at least the Quad Cities...) & celebrate local men who practice yoga regularly.
These images are just a sample of the photos you can expect to see in the calendar. Calendars are expected to be available in October and will retail for $25...reserve your copy today!
