Just a quick entry...today is a full day (a wonderful day, that is =)...



We spent the weekend in Chicago (well, Evanston, actually), and returned late last night after a pretty decent drive home.  Everyone was tired but in good spirits.   Shannon and the kids spent the weekend swimming in the hotel pool (and on other little adventures) while I was taking another weekend of Thai Yoga massage training at the Thai Bodywork School, and this course featured all hands-free techniques.  This work is wonderful...for both the giver and the receiver!  The techniques I learned this weekend are great for deep tissue work...extremely effective therapy for trigger points, chronic pain, tightness, and more.  An added bonus of this amazing work is the benefit for the therapist!  This is what will save my hands (once everyone gives it a try, that is!).  The truth is, this is where my practice is heading...it only makes sense!  This style of bodywork works so well and it is so enjoyable to do...and no pain in the thumbs, wrists or forearms.  Yay!  Two thumbs up for sure!
